About PCB, new production, use were called off by administrative advice (afterwards laws and regulations) of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in 1972. PCB pollution of around dozens of mg/kg was confirmed about electric apparatuses said to that we did not use PCB made after that and was announced in 2002.

To electric water heater which we had production and sales of in the past, we used packing containing some asbestos (we say asbestos as follows). Time when we made production and sales is 1978 through 1992. We do not use packing containing asbestos for electric water heater which had production and sales after 1993.
